Testimonials about the care and support we provide

“I have known X for about a year; my role was to undertake therapy to address his history of trauma. When his previous staff team felt unable to continue supporting him, professionals were understandably concerned about how he would manage the change in environment and relationships.

However, I have been amazed to hear that X is doing well. Although he continues to have some difficulty managing his feelings and requires a high level of staffing, any regression has been far less than expected. I have heard that X is accessing the community, enjoying his relationships with staff, and is functioning well.

From the meetings I have attended, it is clear that X is benefitting greatly from the consistency, energy, patience, and curiosity of the staff team — including their commitment to understanding the reasons behind his behaviours and distress. It is evident that X is liked, cared for, and emotionally held by the staff and this is having a positive impact on his wellbeing.

I am really pleased that X has such a strong, compassionate staff team around him. Caring for X is complex and not always easy, but whatever your staff are doing, it is supporting him to continue to progress and thrive.

Thank you for the care given to X. Please ensure this appreciation is passed on to the staff team as well.”

“I am kept updated most days, and whenever I message staff to ask how X is, I always receive a message back.

The support is top-quality, thank you.

The accommodation is excellent, and I am very happy with the standard provided.

I can see that X is happy in your care. Staff clearly try their best, and I feel QWA absolutely meets X’s individual needs.

QWA also take the time to get X’s views, and the views of those important to her, and use this to inform her care and support.
